Destination Wish List
In no particular order, here is a list of areas within a long weekend’s trip from where I live that I have yet to do any climbing at. I wish to someday touch rock at some of these places:
- Red Wing/Taylors Falls/Willow River in MN – 5 hours
- Sawmill Creek Dome in MN – 8 or 9 hours
- Horseshoe Canyon Ranch in AR – 12 to 13 hours
- Area 74 in AR – 12 to 13 hours
- Governor Dodge in WI – 2 hours
- SoIll in IL – 7 hours
- New River Gorge in WV – 11 to 12 hours
- Obed in TN – over 10 hours
- Lilly Boulders in TN – over 10 hours
- Rocktown in GA – 11 to 12 hours
- Foster Falls in TN – 11 to 12 hours

Definitely! Taylors as well.
so long as you like top roping...and some bouldering. in fairness, i haven't climbed at taylors since coming up here and because i have finals next week and then return home until new years, i probably won't get the chance to until spring term...
Plenty of bouldering at taylors if you know where to go.
I'd definitely be psyched to check out some of the bouldering there, I just need to go with someone who is familiar with the area so i don't waste my time wandering aimlessly.
