How To Enter
This weekend is the final event of the 2008 Triple Crown Bouldering Series at The Stone Fort in Tennessee. The Women’s Open category is a neck and neck race between Kate McGinnis, Alex Puccio and Alex Johnson. Here is how they stand after the first 2 legs of the series:

Even though McGinnis is in the lead it is possible for either Puccio or Johnson to win.
To enter the contest, simply leave a comment on this post with your prediction of who will be the overall TCBS Champion for the Women’s Open category. After the comp this weekend, I will randomly select a winner from the pool of people who correctly predicted the series champion.

As much as I love the hometown girl and would love for Johnson to win, good money is on Kate McGinnis. Alex Johnson fell back to far and Kate is on a roll. Puccio is just stuck in the middle ground.

the pooch has been shredding it outside lately and could gain ground, but johnson has also been crushing hard lines on the quick... not multi-day projecting...[not to take away from puccio's sends, which i couldn't replicate to save my life, but johnson is sending stuff in a few minutes]. finally, it's *always* easier to have a high-mileage/high-octane day when you are repeating things, so i'd be shocked if kate didn't take the cake... also, the slopers of the south will not necessairly yeild to crimping power of puccio and johnson.

alright scubasteve, that's one damn fine job, but do you MAKE fritters? that is a key distinction. i can eats me some fritters too, but i don't make squat, so i cannot be crowned. maybe this: if sweaty can make a fritter so big that you cannot finish it, he still wins?
also, i should be shipped a fritter of similar make, model, and size so that i can partake from home.
finally: note that my ranking above was after dyslexifying puccio and johnson... i thought johnson was only the 400 down.... at 100 down, i'd say that AJ, while super dope awesome, has quite a bit of pulling to do before she could overcome the deficit on puccio.
still, i'd like to hear of a valiant effort.

Havent found anything new yet. haven't really looked though. we're planning on snowshoeing through there this winter a few times. hopefully we'll find something worthwhile. We were up there this sunday but got snowed out. normally sketch topouts were turned into super-ultra-sketchball topouts. sad.
