I had a couple of things I was planning on posting about today, however my brain is overloaded with computer languages which has rendered my already tenuous grasp on the English language...


that much more tenuous.  Until such time as my brain returns to normal functioning here is a cool video of Adam Ondra's recent trip to Céüse, France.

    All of Black Diamond's recent videos have been really high production value and really nice to watch, so props to them.

    Also Adam was sick as usual.

      Companies like Black Diamond & Prana are definitely doing a nice job with these videos which not only create exposure for their climbers and their brands but also helps showcase the talent a lot of the great photographers/filmmakers out there. Hopefully they can keep it up.

    anyone else think TDoS will settle in the 15 range?

      The wall certainly looked bare of anything that resembles a hold - and I was shocked when I finally saw the overhang angle. Also, the "rest" looked ridiculously insane to even consider a rest. Mad props to Ondra for that send. Hopefully the very well done vid will draw some repeat offenders.

      It's interesting to see Ondra actually struggle on a route, but TDoS sure seems like it really caters to people who excel at a certain style of climbing. A style which you don't necessarily find on a lot of routes.

    I love the busted knees and bloody fingers. The kid sure does try hard. His English has gotten a lot better as well.

      I agree. It really is inspiring to see someone at that level pushing themselves so hard. Sure, Ondra sends pretty much everything, but you get the sense that he really does have to try hard to get things done.

    But slacklining without tree protection! Shame on you, Adam!
