Popular Posts & Videos For March 2011

March 2011 is surely a month to remember due mainly to the fact that I sent my project at the Red River Gorge these were just a few of the stories making news:

In the sport climbing world you had Sasha DiGiulian sending not one but two 5.14cs during a week-long stint at the Red River Gorge with a 5.14a onsight thrown in for good measure.  Over in Europe Adam Ondra, who seemingly had already moved things to a new level, really upped the ante by onsighting a handful of 5.14cs and establishing two new 5.15s.

On the smaller rocks Carlo Traversi did the first repeat of Daniel Woods' The Game (V15) in Boulder Canyon and Paul Robinson made the long-awaited 2nd ascent of The Story Of Two Worlds (V15) in Cresciano, CH as well as the 2nd ascent of a V15 in Fontainbleau.

oh come on narc, you aren't even going to spray us down with the name of your big send?

    1. Narc

This route. So much fun it should be illegal.

How does it compare in overall awesomeness to Whiskey a Go-Go?

    1. Narc

Probably better since it's twice as long but both are pretty awesome. It's been a long time since I've been on Whiskey but Jesus Wept felt harder although it's length and my overall lack of fitness probably had something to do with that.

Yeah, congratulations and may the season bring more sending.
