If dave hadnt document so well, the way he climbed this, people would still be standing at the bottom, scratching their heads, going "wtf?"

I don´t think this was so much of a mystery as this was a project for a long time.So I don't think dave did find some totally new and different beta there. Vincent always tried to climb it from the ground. I guess he never thought of using that cheating stone, lol. ;))
